PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
By the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
Who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. There is no “mandatory” time for the St. Michael prayer, but it is traditionally recited in these contexts:
After Low Mass: Historically, it was part of the Leonine Prayers said at the end of Mass.
Morning or Night Prayer: Many people include it in their daily “armour” of prayer when waking up or before going to sleep for spiritual protection.
During Times of Temptation: It is often used as an immediate prayer whenever one feels a sense of spiritual conflict.THE REGINA CAELI
(Replaces the Angelus during Easter Season)
Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia:
For He whom you did merit to bear, alleluia,
Has risen, as He said, alleluia.
Pray for us to God, alleluia.
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray:
O God, who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
Grant, we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother,
We may obtain the joys of everlasting life.
Through the same Christ our Lord. AmenCHAPLET OF DIVINE MERCY
