LIVE from the Vatican | Pope Leo XIV’s Canonization Mass of Seven New Saints | October 19, 2025
On this day, October 19, 2025, the Canonization Ceremony includes martyrs, founders of religious orders, doctors, and laypeople from various parts of the world, including Papua New Guinea, the Ottoman Empire (modern-day Turkey), Italy, and Venezuela.
Each of them walked a unique path to sainthood, witnessing to Christ through courageous faith, charity, and service. Pope Leo XIV continues the legacy of his predecessors by canonizing these saints who lived exemplary lives of holiness and dedication. Their canonization reminds the Church that sanctity knows no boundaries of nation, vocation, or circumstance.
